When you come to us for help in selling your home and it turns out that a short sale is the best option, this is how it goes: We list your home, we collect all this confidential information, such as bank statements, W2's, hardship letters and even tax returns and then we go to work negotiating with the lender.

Months go by, whilst you are having these nightmares of being forced out of the house. Questions of where do I go from here? what will happen to my credit? where will I live next? It all ads to the stress.

And no matter how much we reassure you of the fact that we know what we are doing, you have your doubts. And of course everyone has his opinion so now you have all these people "who know better" telling you different and if that was not enough worry, there's the local Realtor who wants to "list" your home because now he has earned some designation because he went to some distressed real estate course and who has never done a short sale in his life...

So it's though, going through a short sale and once it's done, everything is quickly forgotten.

We understand that, the stress is gone, once your house is sold in a short sale and all the debt is forgiven.
